Phillip and Holly started the show by arriving big in an ice cream van and surprising the pair as they tried to create the iconic 99.

Holly stumbled, “Ice, come get your ice cream … Look, this is actually the thing of dreams!

‘I’ve never [been] in an ice cream truck … I’m not getting out of here today, you know that? … I’m going to lie down here [ice cream] machine with my mouth open! ‘

Having fun? Holly also joked that it was “the last day of the day” for her and Phil when they drove the van into the studio

The pair commissioned Alison Hammond to man the vehicle throughout the show after returning to the studio earlier this week.

Just kidding, it was the ‘last day of the year’, Phillip and Holly hugged their last day on set enjoying a wine tasting and enjoying lobster rolls cooked by John Torode.

Phillip also took the chance to embarrass Holly during an interview with Spooks star Rupert Penry-Jones, who made fun of her for being in love with the actor.

Despite the fact that Phillip was silent about her crush for the entire interview, Phillip ended the chat saying, “The restraining order is still in effect, don’t worry, she shouldn’t be within two feet of you!”

Obviously annoyed at Phil, Holly threw her notes at him before giggling, “I said to him,” Please don’t embarrass me today “” and he went “listen, I did it earlier and you got over it so you will get over it again! “And now I’m ashamed, I’ve turned red! ‘

Despite clearly enjoying themselves on the show, Phillip and Holly This Morning ended on a touching note as they paid tribute to the show’s production team.

After looking back at the series’ most emotional and hilarious moments, the duo paid tribute to the show’s crew to keep the program on air during the lockdown, with many still working hard from home.

She’s staying away! Despite being silent about her crush throughout the interview, Phillip said, “The restraining order is still in effect, don’t worry, she shouldn’t be within two feet of you!”

Phillip said, “We often talk about our This Morning family on the screen, but that family goes behind the scenes to help us through these difficult times.

‘We don’t often have credits, but we do this this year because we want to thank great crew.

“Hopefully, when we get back in September, we can give you a hug!”

During the summer holidays, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford present This Morning Monday through Thursday, with guest hosts appearing on Friday.
