After Landon Dickerson revealed he wanted to buy a new lawnmower after signing an $87 million contract extension with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month, the offensive lineman kept his word.
Dickerson showed off his $15,000 red lawn mower on social media Thursday, sitting in the driver’s seat as happy as can be.
Dickerson drove the Gravely Pro-Turn 560 down his driveway before posing in his chair for the cameras.
“I bought a lawnmower,” Dickerson said in a video on social media.
Dickerson’s extension was for four years and keeps him under contract with the Eagles through 2028. His contract includes $70 million in guaranteed money.
Dickerson discussed purchasing a new, state-of-the-art lawnmower earlier this month.
Dickerson was seen riding his new lawnmower on social media Thursday.
Dickerson has been in the NFL since 2021 as part of the Eagles’ daunting offensive line alongside players like Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata.
Dickerson was a second-round pick after playing his final college season at Alabama after transferring from Florida State.
Dickerson’s extension makes him the highest-paid guard in NFL history.
