Oscar-winning filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have given it much publicity Coyote vs. Acme his seal of approval, describing the film as “delightful.”
Lord and Miller, the producers behind the animated hits Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: About the Spider-Verse And The Lego Movie franchise, went to X on Tuesday night to reveal that they had seen it Coyote and confirmed its quality.
“I saw COYOTE VERSUS ACME and it’s delicious,” Miller tweeted. “Funny, charming, good physical comedy timing, with a surprising amount of heart. I hope different studios get behind it so the world can see all the good work people have done.”
“Coyote vs. Acme is amazing. @dgreenmachine is doing well,” Lord tweeted. “Hilariously smart existential and moving and makes this all-time character more relevant than ever. 🧨💥❤️”
Last Friday, The Hollywood Reporter announced the news that Dave Green’s film will be Warner Bros.’ third already-shot film. would be shelved after previously ignoring almost completed projects Batgirl And Scoob! Holiday chase in August 2022.
The decision to shelve the film for tax reasons sparked outrage in the creative community. Miller is one of a group of filmmakers who saw this Coyote. Writer-director BenDavid Grabinski, who worked with Green Happytweeted: “Coyote vs. Acme is a great movie. The best of its kind since (Who framed Roger the Rabbit) … The protagonists are super likable. It’s beautifully shot. The animation is great. The ending makes everyone fucking cry. I thought the goal of this company was to make hit movies?
