A fan at the PGA Championship in Louisville sent X users into a frenzy after picking up a snake in Valhalla on Sunday.

In a video posted by Old Row Golf, a fan in a blue polo is seen picking up the reptile on the golf course. After grabbing the snake by the head, the fan set it down on the grass and waved it away.

While he received a standing ovation from fans around him, the bold viewer was also praised by others on social media.

“Southern kids have a different build,” said one user, while another pointed out how “bold” the act was.

A third fan commented on the clip with two laughing-crying emojis and two flexed biceps emojis behind them.

The snake wasn’t the only unwanted visitor that had to be removed Sunday afternoon. Hours later, a much larger snake slithered onto the course’s second hole.

Like the man in the viral video, another passerby, later identified as Jacob of Shelbyville, picked up the snake from the green and placed it back in the woods.
