Peugeot is updating its electric 208 and E-208 hatchback with a sharper new design, new engines and technologies in both variants.
Arriving later this year, it promises a sportier look, an upgraded digital i-Cockpit, a 248-mile battery-only range, new 100 and 136 hybrid powertrains, and the latest generation of infotainment systems.

The 208 was the best-selling car in Europe in 2021 and 2022 and Peugeot says the updates are to ensure it stays there. Orders open in October.
Over a million 208s have been sold since its launch in late 2019.
This was boosted by sales of the all-electric version, which last year became the best-selling electric car in its segment across Europe.
Prices for the current lineup start at £20,610 for the 208 and £31,595 for the e-208. So haggle hard for deals as dealers look to switch existing stock to make room.
