Peter Kay announces once a MONTH appearance at The O2 as he unveils an exciting new London residency as part of the first standup tour in a DECADE
Peter Kay has announced that he will perform at the O2 arena in London once a month as part of his first standup tour in ten years.
The comedian, 49, appeared on Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show Wednesday morning where he revealed the exciting news.
It comes after Peter, who has been largely absent from the public for the past four years, announced that he will embark on an arena tour from December to August 2023.
Excited: He withdrew from the public eye in 2017, when he canceled a massive 14-month stand-up tour due to ‘unforeseen family circumstances’
But fans were quick to share their disappointment as the legendary funny man didn’t share any dates in London as host Zoe played clips of people begging him to come to town.
To make their dreams come true, Peter was quick to assure fans that he will be taking his first tour since 2010 to the capital of England with a monthly residency.
Zoe excitedly revealed that he will be performing at The O2 Arena once a month starting in December, with dates including December 16, January 21, February 18, March 22 and April 22.
As Zoe worked through his list of dates, Peter revealed, “Nobody is recording this, actually I do the O2 once a month!”
