Peter Andre has hinted at two possible names for his newborn daughter after revealing he will let his wife Emily make the final decision.
The couple welcomed their third child, Andre’s fifth, in April, but have yet to make a final decision on what to name her.
Responding to his Instagram followers, the Australian singer, 51, admitted that he had personally liked two names, but had not yet told his wife about them.
He said: ‘Athena is also in the race. I’m not sure how Em feels about this, but I LOVE IT…Charlotte is in the running too. I like Charlie.’

Sharing an update, she announced that her daughter “still doesn’t have a name” while cradling the little one in a sweet video clip.
Andre wrote: ‘The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is a completely different love.
He added: “What an incredible mother she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us.” We all love Bubba very much. And she STILL doesn’t have a name.’
Andre previously admitted that he and Emily are no closer to naming their baby, and the registration deadline is quickly approaching.
He joked that Emily is “slowing down the process” as she is in the midst of her post-birth recovery.
In his column for OK! magazine, Andre said that he and Emily have less than four weeks left before they have to register their daughter, so the deadline to decide her name is approaching.
“We’re still no closer to finding a name for our new bundle of joy,” he wrote. ‘Every time Emily and I talk about it, we just leave it aside. Since Emily and I agreed to let her choose, it seems like the process has slowed down even more.
He added: “She is recovering after all, so I totally understand.” We have less than four weeks left before we have to register it.’

She previously wrote: ‘We’re all in a baby bubble right now and Emily and the baby are doing great.’ Everything feels perfect.
‘We’ve been trying out names that our friends and family have suggested, but Emily and I don’t seem to agree with them.
“So I think it’s fair for Emily to decide. I hope she chooses a good option.”
Andre is also dad to Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, as well as Amelia, 10, and Theo, seven, with Emily.
She uploaded the first snapshots of her newborn daughter ‘just a few minutes old’ on Instagram after the birth.
They showed Emily breastfeeding her daughter and him wearing a medical cap while holding her.
He captioned the heartwarming snaps: ‘Just a few minutes ago… We’re feeling so overwhelmed right now. Very happy to welcome our beautiful baby girl to the family.
‘Mom and daughter are doing amazing. Born on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, he weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and is fortunately very healthy.
‘The baby has been spoiled with hugs from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo, who are in love with his new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.
‘The only thing is… She doesn’t have a name yet. Aid!
The couple has been unable to decide on a name in the weeks since their daughter’s birth; Peter recently revealed that he had decided to let Emily choose.
He joked that Emily is “slowing down the process” as she is in the midst of her postpartum recovery.
‘Thank you to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily’s parents, who I adore. You both have been incredible.
‘I’m so happy. I’m just going to hug her. Thaks everyone for reading.’
The TV personality explained that the timing of the birth worked well because the older children were able to spend time with the new baby during the school holidays.
He added: “It’s been great to have the kids out of school over the holidays so we can spend time together as a family.”
‘While we are looking for a name, we are simply trying to differentiate between day and night. Lack of sleep is already real!’
She wrote: “We’re all in a baby bubble right now and Emily and the baby are doing great.”
