Vicky Pattison has revealed she has given Pete Wicks the unique task of being her ‘flower girl’ at her lavish Italian wedding on Wednesday – meaning the TOWIE star will be forced to miss crucial hours in the Strictly training room.

During Tuesday’s instalment of Lorraine, Vicky appeared as a guest to discuss her upcoming nuptials, her struggles with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and Pete’s important role in her wedding.

The former Geordie Shore star, 36, hilariously revealed that Pete, also 36, will be “embracing his role as flower girl” as she prepares to jet off to Italy amid her busy Strictly schedule.

She told Lorraine Kelly: “Pete is taking on his role as flower girl. He’s arriving tonight and I have no doubt he’ll show us some fantastic moves as he walks down the aisle.”

She added: “When we found out he was going to be performing on Strictly we had already planned for him to come to the wedding so he comes and goes very quickly.”

“He’s a very good friend, so this has been conflicting for him.”

Vicky and Ercan Ramadan officially tied the knot in Marylebone in August, surrounded by their loved ones.

Now, they are set to celebrate their union in style with a grand wedding in Puglia, all of which will be captured for new E4 series, Vicky Pattison: My Big Fat Geordie Wedding.

As they discussed getting married again, Vicky explained to Lorraine that she now feels like a “seasoned professional” and is “less nervous” this time around.

She joked: “I feel like a seasoned pro now, I’m definitely less nervous.”

‘A wedding planner has taken a lot of stress and pressure off of me.’

She then compared her wedding to a “zoo” and said she wouldn’t recommend having 160 people in her home.

She said: “It was lovely, any bride can attest that the process is stressful and a rollercoaster but it was worth it on the day.”

She told Lorraine: “Pete is taking on his role as flower girl. He’ll be arriving tonight and I have no doubt he’ll show us some fantastic moves as he walks down the aisle.”

She added: “When we found out he was going to be performing on Strictly we had already planned for him to come to the wedding so he comes and goes very quickly.”

“I’d say there were 160 people in your house, I don’t recommend it. It was a zoo.”

He added: “People are going to bother you, your guests are going to bother you. You have to accept that.”

“They’ll miss flights or do whatever’s best for them. Let go of expectations that everything will be fine in that regard. Do what makes you happy.”

Elsewhere on the daytime show, Vicky was emotional as she spoke about her struggles with PMDD.

Vicky revealed that she often feels anger and anxiety: “You feel anger, anxiety, depression, fatigue.”

“It’s very debilitating. Sometimes I don’t know how my guy can stand me.”

‘I’m a big advocate of telling the truth and making women who go through these things feel less alone.’

She added: “As luck would have it, the luteal phase (when it is at its worst) fell the week before both of my weddings. It was a bit spicy.”

Revealing that she hopes PMDD doesn’t win this time, Vicky said: “Getting married again to the love of my life and being surrounded by my friends and family, I feel incredibly happy. I hope PMDD doesn’t win this time.”

The lavish event in Puglia will be packed with celebrities, including TOWIE’s Ferne McCann and Mario Falcone, and even Bake Off’s Candice Brown among the 120 guests.

Vicky expressed her excitement about filming her trip for E4, saying: The mirror:”Can you imagine showing the video to our children? We’ll say, ‘Look at your mom! Isn’t your dad smart?'”

She continued: “It just seemed natural to want to share this really happy thing with everyone who has been following my career and our relationship.”

“Plus, weddings are expensive and every penny counts, so I didn’t hesitate!”

Meanwhile, her husband Ercan said filming the show has been “a lot of fun” and that they will have him “with us forever.”

Post-nuptial bliss isn’t the only thing on the couple’s minds, as Vicky revealed she’s looking forward to starting a family with Ercan after their wedding in Italy.

Speaking about her future plans, Vicky, who has previously spoken about egg freezing, said they have created embryos because she is soon to turn 37 and “wanted to take some pressure off” but hopes to have children in the future.

Ercan, who says he wants to work and travel for another year, revealed that they will start trying in a year and a half.
