Pete Wicks bent over in agony as he revealed he had already “hurt his groin” just days after starting his intense training regime for Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Only Way Is Essex star, 36, was joined by her best friend Sam Thompson, 32, on Friday and the pair were up to their usual banter.
However, as Sam sang the infamous Strictly tune and Pete showed off some of his moves, he appeared to hurt his groin as he exclaimed: “Fucking hell, I hurt my groin.”
Pete quickly recovered from his temporary injury and the pair continued to joke around and tease each other.
Sam joked: “You don’t look much like your Strictly picture,” to which Pete quipped: “Yeah, that’s from five years ago, it’s from the calendar years.”

Pete’s place in the Strictly line-up was confirmed earlier this week and he will be the first TOWIE star to take part in the BBC talent show.
Revealing the news live on Kiss FM, Pete said he feels “excited and absolutely petrified”.
He said: ‘It’s a mixture of excitement and absolute petrification, it’s fear, you can see right into my soul.’
Pete also revealed that his best friend Sam is thrilled with him and plans to be on the show every Saturday.
Speaking on his Staying Relevant podcast, Pete said: ‘Sam planned that every Saturday he would be on the show, Sam is the only person who will be there every Saturday.’
He then joked: “He’s making t-shirts, that guy really needs to get a life.”
Pete’s casting may come as a surprise to some viewers, given his friendship with Zara McDermott, 27, and her boyfriend Sam.
As it emerged earlier this year, her close friend Zara was physically and verbally abused by her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima, 30, last year.
At the beginning of the video, Sam sang the infamous Strictly tune while Pete showed off some of his moves.
However, he then appeared to hurt his groin as he exclaimed to Sam, “Fuck, I hurt my groin.”

Graziano was accused of “chasing” Zara while “yelling insults at her”, leaving her so scared that she “locked herself in a bathroom”.
He has since apologized for kicking his ex-partner, but added that other allegations do not match “how he remembers it.”
The shocking details reportedly claim he “called her nasty names, asked if she had gained weight and was forceful”, leaving her “visibly demoralised” and “in tears”.
Zara itself previously said in a statement that there had been “particular incidents within the training room which were incredibly distressing.”

Earlier this year it emerged that her close friend Zara was physically and verbally abused by her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima, 30, last year (pictured in 2023).
She did not report the incidents at the time because she was “afraid” of a backlash, instead it was junior production staff who came forward.
The source added that Graziano would apologize each time and “promise not to do it again.”
Mark Borkowski, a Graziano’s spokesman also said BBC News: ‘There’s never a moment to kick, or have the feeling that that’s the right thing to do, and he knows it. He knows he made a mistake. He apologized at the time.
Referring to the media reports, Mark added: “But he fails to acknowledge some of the problems surrounding the issue. The descriptions of what is being discussed online and how he remembers it do not match up.”
