Two of three “squatters” who were caught red-handed in a Queens woman’s home fled in disgrace today after being confronted by the media.

The unnamed man and woman covered their faces with hoodies today as they fled their home in Flushing, refusing to answer questions on the way out.

The house is owned by Adele Andaloro, a mother who inherited the property from her parents.

Earlier this week, Andaloro was handcuffed after a tense confrontation at home.

She showed up and found several squatters who refused to move. Even though she owned the house, she was handcuffed and taken away.

The incident is the latest in a series of confrontations in the United States, as landlords grow increasingly frustrated with ridiculous laws that protect squatters and punish names on deeds.

Andaloro, shaken by her arrest, declined an interview today as she left town with her family.

‘We leave. We’re leaving town,” she said.

Before leaving her house, she said the whole saga was “crazy”.

DailyMail.com spoke to neighbors who said they had not only seen squatters living in the house but also carrying out construction work.

Andaloro entered the house, flanked by reporters, after an unidentified woman unlocked the door. Inside, she was greeted by two men who were eventually taken away by police.

Some were seen opening doors and moving furniture, they said.

Kevin Balletsy, one of the men who lives in the house, insists he does it legally.

He told DailyMail.com he now wants his deposit back – and will then run away too.

“I have no idea what is going on here with this nonsense. I’m trying to get my money back and get out of here. I have nothing to do with it.

“I have receipts showing that I paid the landlord and the real estate, other than that I’m not part of it.”

“I’ll wash my hands of it and walk away,” he said.

Two security guards were deployed in front of the house, where the three squatters took up residence. The furious homeowner, who was in the process of selling the house, said: “I’m really afraid these people will get away with stealing my house.”
