Pete Davidson revealed on Tuesday that he jokingly gave Alec Baldwin training advice while the actor presented Saturday Night Live, but he took it pretty seriously.
The 27-year-old comedian on a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was asked by Jimmy, 46, if it was true that he was doing 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups a day after learning that Alec, 63, was training followed regime.
“No,” Pete replied before explaining.

“So I started and Alec was the host, and it was a sketch where I had to be shirtless and, you know, I think I’m a little crazy or whatever,” Pete said to a giggling audience.
‘So he came up to me and said,’ What are you doing? ‘ ‘,’ Continued Pete with quite an impression of the actor.
‘And I didn’t want to be rude and say,’ I just have metabolism ‘…’ ‘I’m not in my mid-fifties” … So to make him feel better was like, ” Oh man, I do 100 push ups and 100 sit ups every day. And he said, ‘Got it,’ added Pete with another deep impression of Alec.
And then he got Trump’s performance. And so I saw him every week, and every time we met in the hall, he would be “100 a day” and he started doing it and he lost about 100 pounds, “Pete said.

Alec said in a March 2019 interview on The Howard Stern Show that Pete told him to do “ 100 push-ups ” a day.
“I’m doing it now, I’m doing more, I like 125, 150, building up,” Alec told Howard, 67.

Pete was on the NBC talk show promoting his new original Audible comedy series Hit Job.
“It’s an Audible original, so it’s like a movie or TV show to your ears,” he explained.
