Pete Davidson left his mother’s basement.

The 27-year-old comedian admitted to finding a place of his own while searching for his keys during a TikTok chat uploaded Friday night.

Pete seemed to be coming home to his new place while he was talking on the phone in the short clip.

He was about to answer a question about mental health, but had to put down his cellphone to find his keys.

“I just moved out of my mom’s house,” he said when he entered his new apartment. ‘I’m completely out of it. I have a notepad. ‘

Pete has shared a living space with his mother in recent years after breaking up with ex-fiancé Ariana Grande and moving from their massive $ 16 million Manhattan apartment.

‘What’s up guys? We’re in the basement of my apartment in my mom’s house, ‘he said on a tour of the place last year. “I moved here a year ago and built this weird little basement to stay away from f *** ing people.”

“This is my bedroom where nothing happens because I live with my mother,” he joked at the time.

During a Saturday Night Live sketch in February, Pete said there were plans to finally leave the nest.

“In some ways I love the pandemic Valentine’s Day because it wasn’t my fault the first time I was alone,” he said. ‘I’ve been eating chocolates all night and watching a movie with my mom, so I’m officially leaving the house. One of us has to go. ‘
