West Ham started their life after Declan Rice with a comfortable 6-2 win over Perth Glory on their pre-season tour.
He was inspired by a terrific performance from Jarrod Bowen, who scored a brace and collected an assist.
The visitors took the lead after just 70 seconds when Daniel Chesters fired a cross shot past the Perth keeper.
Gianluca Scamacca doubled the lead from the penalty spot 20 minutes after Pablo Fornals was brought down in the box following a graceful move from Scamacca.
While the Hammers dominated for most of the first half, there were some flashes of Perth brilliance on the right wing, mainly through Adam Taggart.

Perth had their moments in the first half, but were eventually outplayed by their Premier League opponents.
He crossed a dangerous ball into the box late in the first half, which Luizao was unlucky enough to convert into his own net.
Jarrod Bowen looked good after coming off the bench at half time, restoring the Hammers’ two-goal lead with a graceful first shot into the roof of the net after a fine ball from Emerson Palmieri.
They then switched roles, with Bowen lobbing an excellent cross into the box that Emerson headed neatly past the keeper.
There was a bit of a scare when Perth made it 4-2 minutes later, but the visitors regained control when Divin Mubama headed in an impressive Chesters cross.
Bowen completed his double minutes later to complete a convincing victory.
Fornals produced quality moments throughout the game, and should have made the fifth when he hit the post.
The Hammers will remain in Perth for their next game, which will see them face Tottenham London in another pre-season friendly.
