A cult beauty salon was forced to close its shop after its owner decided to sell the property.

The Olive + July team announced on Tuesday the closure of its Subiaco salon in central Perth.

“After almost seven years, our lease on our beloved Subiaco clinic is coming to an end,” they wrote online.

“Although we wish and have begged to stay, unfortunately we cannot continue the lease of this premises.”

As Olive + July founder Chloe Sherrell focuses her attention on motherhood, it was decided the business would not relocate.

“Ending our lease gave us the opportunity to evaluate where we are as a small family business,” he said.

‘We realized that we are not ready to undergo another beauty salon at this stage of our lives.

“Having a young son and hopefully expanding our family in the near future, we feel like it’s not the right time.”

Instead, Sherrell will become a freelancer under the Olive + July brand of the already established B Cosmetics, in the north of the city.

“Cosmetics is a modern, family-run boutique clinic founded by Dr Sarah and Dr Ben Wade, located in Perth’s iconic coastal suburb of City Beach,” Ms Sherrell said.

She will offer cosmetic tattoos, eyebrow styling, lash lifts and skin treatments from her room at B Cosmetics.

The emotional announcement received several supportive comments from loyal customers.

‘One of the best chapters of my life was working here! “It’s very sad to see him go, but I’m very proud of you,” one said.

‘One door closes and another opens!’ wrote another.

The last day of Olive + Julio at the Subiaco clinic will be June 21 and Ms Sherrell will begin operating from B Cosmetics from July 1.
