A 27-year-old care worker has been charged with indecently assaulting a disabled nursing home resident in his 80s.
Police reported on Tuesday that the “disgusting” assault on a vulnerable man allegedly occurred at an aged care facility in Perth’s western suburbs on March 22.
The accused is an NDIS worker who visits several aged care facilities in the area, police said on Tuesday.

Detectives from the Sexual Assault Team charged the man, who lives in the western Perth suburb of Marangaroo, with three counts of indecent treatment with an incapable person on Saturday.
The man is in preventive detention and is scheduled He will face Perth Magistrates Court on April 2.
This investigation is ongoing.
