Jack Grealish has been a star on and off the pitch for Manchester City, and the £100million English winger proved a hit in the club’s new Netflix series.
Grealish’s sense of humor takes center stage as he explains his love of Bovril (a meaty drink) at Bristol City and why the training ground is his favorite place to walk his cockapoo Skye.
City’s new six-part documentary series showcases their historic treble-winning season and while there is a lot to unpack on the pitch, it is off it where viewers can really see Grealish’s personality.
One scene shows Grealish, his dog Skye and his model girlfriend Sasha Attwood taking a walk around City’s training ground.
The couple explain that because they live in an inner-city apartment in the Northern Quarter area, there is little green space for Skye to run around, so the training ground has become a home away from home. for the cockapoo.

“I love my dog, I love her more than anything in the world,” Grealish says.
“When you come back after a game, win, lose, whatever, the dogs are happy to see you.”
Attwood surprised Grealish on a birthday with Skye, then just a puppy, and the City star describes his cockapoo as the “best gift ever”.
But using City’s luxurious training facilities has not always been easy for Grealish and Attwood.
“I brought her onto the pitch once and we had obviously trained on it during the day,” Grealish explains, “and she did the biggest s**t, right in the middle of the pitch.”
Grealish’s cheeky personality makes him a key figure in the dressing room.
His sense of humor and infectious personality make him a success throughout the documentary.
His love for Bovril was passed on to his teammates, and Phil Foden was encouraged to give it a try.

In episode four, he takes it upon himself to educate some of his teammates about the meaty drink Bovril.

“I don’t really think Manu liked it, I just think he said ‘yes’ to get me away from him,” says Grealish, before adding that he offered it to everyone in the dressing room.
“They were amazing, I took about eight home!”
While he couldn’t convince everyone in the dressing room to get on the Bovril bandwagon, it’s clear how popular Grealish is with the staff and his teammates.
Grealish is a joker and has been shown to have helped lighten the mood during the treble season.

Bernardo Silva jokes that Grealish’s hair is a ‘4/10’, while Riyad Mahrez and Grealish have a routine of seeing who has the best close control in a competitive one-on-one after training.
Mahrez, who is no longer at the club, was known for his touch so the pair routinely played a game where they hit the ball from the side of the main building on the training ground and the loser is the one who can’t stop the ball hitting the ground.
