A personal trainer has exposed ‘fake’ Instagram transformations by showing how anyone can change their posture to ‘slim down’ and ‘get rid of cellulite’ in just seconds.

Middlesbrough personal trainer Georgina Cox showed how changing the position of her underwear instantly changes the look of her physique – without the use of filters.

In the first video posted on Instagramyou can see the fitness guru looking away from the camera, her underwear on her hips.

Then she pulls up her panties so that they are high on her waist, before tightening her muscles, pulling her shoulders back and inhaling, revealing a perkier looking rear and toned physique.

She explained that when she first started the gym, she tended to follow the incredible ‘transformations’ on fitness accounts and ‘believed’ the photos presented to her.

However, she added that the accounts that were supposed to ‘motivate’ her actually made her ‘question’ her hard work – and resulted in comparing her results with those of others.

In a caption on social media, Georgina wrote: ‘For years I REALLY believed that these two-week transformations were real, and they were always accompanied by a product that helped them ‘achieve’ this drastic change.

It’s so important to be aware of the images you consume and the reality behind them, there are so many factors that can COMPLETELY change someone’s appearance!

“Positions, angles, lighting, and clothing placement will ALL contribute to the many incredible shapes of our bodies, but these factors can be used against us.”

Georgina also shared a second video showing how ‘natural’ beach positions might not be that natural after all.

She starts the clip seated, with her bikini bottoms pulled up to her waist as she stretches her arms high in the air.

The personal trainer flexes her back and glutes and leans forward with her weight on her feet – giving the appearance of a peachy posterior.

While she relaxes her position, she sits comfortably, while her physique “seems” to change before our eyes.

This clip shows how posing emphasizes her muscles, which isn’t so obvious when she’s relaxing.

Alongside the video, she wrote, ‘Posing is definitely a FACTOR that contributes to the vast majority of images we scroll past, but when it comes to muscle, BODY COMPOSITION will EMPHASIZE these poses.

When you build muscles, especially your UPPER BODY, such as your back and shoulders, and build your UNDER BODY, such as your legs and glutes, you are able to create the ILLUSION of a smaller waist, ESPECIALLY in certain positions.

Speaking of her own body composition, Georgina, who says she has a genetically small waist, explained that when she’s relaxed and tightens her muscles, the muscle she’s built is more ‘prominent’.

She added: ‘I’m not ALONE posing, I TENSION the muscles in my back AND my lower body! ‘

The personal trainer ended her post by urging her followers not to “ waste another summer ” comparing their bodies to someone else – and just focus on themselves.
