The report claims City are confident they can convince Aston Villa to do business after the club completes the £40m signing of Emi Buendia from Norwich.
Kane is seen as Guardiola’s number 1 target to replace Sergio Aguero as his main striker, but the manager believes they should not miss the chance to land Grealish.

The 20-year-old scored 16 goals in all competitions and provided 10 assists as he helped City reach their first Champions League final.
And Guardiola believes the addition of Kane and Grealish could help them do even better after losing to Chelsea.
All three players will play a key role for England at the European Championship this summer.
Grealish was named player of the match in the final warm-up game against Romania after coming off the bench to win a penalty.
Kane will be looking for a new Golden Boot after he topped the scoreboards at the 2018 World Cup, while Foden is also likely to be a key player for Gareth Southgate.
