Gina Miyares (28), a Boston native, is happily married to Josh (24) for three years. However, people still find it surprising that the couple are actually together.
They are often criticized by others for claiming that their marriage is fake or that Josh is gay.
Gina, who is a school’s resident director, said that people have said to her: “Oh wow. Josh is so fit and active They even say I look like one man which is ridiculous. Or they think Josh is secretly gay, and pretend to like me.”

Gina and Josh met in summer 2017 as work colleagues. They quickly became close friends, before they started to date in May 2018.
After five months of being together, Josh proposed to Josh in October 2018.
Gina stated, “We were friends first so it was very close.”
The couple got married in August 2019, and they have been trying to have a baby for the past two years.
Although the couple has been happily married for three years, many people are still shocked to learn that they are actually together.
Gina and Josh first met at work in summer 2017. They became friends and then began to date in May 2018.
Josh lives an active lifestyle. Gina is plus-sized and confident with her curves, which she says Josh loves.
Despite the negative remarks, Gina & Josh are happy in their relationship.
Gina stated: People don’t get how someone plus-sized can be loved.
“They claim our marriage is fake, and that Josh is very attractive.

“It’s rude, but I’ve heard it so many times now that it doesn’t bother me.”

Josh, who works as an educational programmer at a school added that “Sometimes it gets to me when people are comparing Gina’s looks.”

“It hurts when people say these things to my beautiful wife.

The couple posted online about their struggles with fertility and their relationship, but they were met with negative comments.
Gina stated, “We put ourselves online, but we are conscious people can be mean.”
“Some days, it gets to me when I don’t feel good about myself.
“Most of the times it doesn’t bother me.”
Josh, who is an educator at a school, stated that it hurts him to hear people comment on his wife’s ‘gorgeousness’.
Gina, who is plus size, said that she feels’secure’ in her own skin and thinks critics don’t know what it’s like to experience unconditional love.
Josh can laugh at comments that he claims he is gay and pretends to like Gina.
Josh stated, “We laugh about it ourselves.” “What’s most hurtful are the assumptions that are made.”
Gina stated that Josh and she were just spending time together in love.
