Take to Twitter, British – and those who live outside of it – recalled the time before social distancing guidelines were implemented, as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
In the United Kingdom, the BBC asked people to share their photos with #lastnormalphoto to show what the Brit’s daily life looked like before COVID-19 forced the country to shutdown on March 23, eight weeks ago.
While some people took pictures of themselves, lounging in the park or dancing at concerts, many chose to share pictures of their family and friends, thinking about the last time they saw them.
Many said they could never have imagined that a viral illness would have prevented them from enjoying their lives the day the photos were taken.
