She is the mother of two children, who she shares with her husband Rod Stewart.

And Penny Lancaster’s eldest son, Alistair, was turning 17 this weekend, when the police officer took to Instagram to wish him a happy birthday.

Penny, 51, shared a smile with her son, 17, as they enjoyed lunch together and leaned in to take the sweet photo.

Rocker Rod’s wife wore a light denim jacket and wore her blonde hair in a ponytail, while bangs framed her pretty features.

Meanwhile, Alistair wore a black polo neck top with a diamond necklace that featured the word ‘angels’.

Beneath the snap, Penny’s friend and presenter Davina McCall sent her well wishes, writing “Happy Birthday Alistair!!!”

Penny also posted a black and white photo of herself with Alistair on her Stories and again wrote “happy birthday” and tagged her son’s name.

Earlier this week, Sir Rod showed off a dashing figure on Thursday night while attending London’s private members’ club Mark’s Club 50th anniversary party.

The rocker, 77, was joined by his son Alastair, who towered over the rocker while smiling for a plethora of snaps, as well as his niece Raphaella.

Showing off his fashion sense, the star donned a bright red blazer with a leopard print design, while his wife looked glam in sequins.

Standing next to her husband, Penny donned a black mini wrap dress for the evening, embellished with dark sequins.

Her blonde locks were styled in a brushed yet structured wave, while she added a silver key pendant necklace.

And it was a family affair, as Rod and Penny’s 16-year-old son wrapped an arm around his dad for a few snaps.

The up-and-coming model wore a pair of checkered pants, a cream turtleneck, and a taupe blazer.
