Nancy Pelosi stumbled over her words as she accused former President Donald Trump of suffering from “cognitive degeneration.”

The former House speaker joined MSNBC shortly after Trump went on a wild rant in Pennsylvania.

Speaking to MSNBC on Sunday morning, Pelosi said: “I think what the former president just said is further indication of his cognitive degeneration.”

“Something is very wrong there,” before the 84-year-old woman began babbling.

Composing himself, he continued: “(He) is diminishing the power of the press, which is the guardian of our freedom and our country.”

He added: “I think people who are thinking about voting for him should know that he can’t last four years as president with his brain deteriorating.”

Pelosi also added that it could be the vice president, Senator JD Vance, who ends up as commander in chief, which she described as “a horrible thing.”

Trump gave a conspiracy-laden speech just two days before the election, in which he talked about the shooting of journalists.

He also suggested that he “should not have left” the White House after his 2020 loss to Biden.

Looking at the ballistic glass in front of him after an assassination attempt earlier this year, he said, “I have this piece of glass here.”

But all we have here is fake news. And to catch me, someone would have to spread the fake news. And I don’t care much about that.

His campaign national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, defended the comments, telling ABC News: “He was obviously joking.”

At one point during the rambling about Democratic “cheating” in the election, Trump demanded that the winner be announced on Election Day no later than 11 p.m.

At Sunday’s rally, Trump said he didn’t think it was necessary to have glass in certain areas because it made him look bad on television.

Trump in recent weeks has joked about Arnold Palmer’s genitals and held a rally at Madison Square Garden in which speakers hurled crude and racist insults.

It was the second time in recent days that Trump talked about pointing guns at people he considers enemies.

He suggested Former Rep. Liz Cheney, a prominent Republican critic, would not be willing to support foreign wars if she had “nine barrels firing at her.”

With less than 48 hours until Election Day, Trump continues to promote falsehoods about the election and argue that he can only lose to Kamala Harris if he is misled, even though polls point to a close race.

A final New York Times poll puts Trump behind Harris in four critical states: Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

They are tied in Michigan and Pennsylvania and Trump is one point ahead in Arizona. It’s a very close race with just two days left until Election Day.

The latest results follow a shocking poll released Saturday night that put Trump trailing Harris by three points in Iowa, a solidly Republican state.

The vice president is also closing the gap with Trump in the betting markets, in a sign of momentum for her in the final days of the campaign.

The former president’s odds plummeted overnight after the Des Moines Register poll results were revealed.

But in the early hours of Sunday his chances improved slightly, with still a small gap between him and Harris.
