The Argentinian international had previously been linked to a move to the Premier League with Manchester United and Tottenham, among others, touted as potential destinations, but there was never a move.
Tottenham was the pursuer of the Argentine international, who had fallen into the pecking order under Massimiliano Allegri after the arrival of Real Madrid’s five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
Spurs came closest to Dybala’s landing as a party tent last summer, and the 26-year-old even filmed a ‘goodbye’ message to the Juventus fans.

Dybala scored 17 goals and 13 assists this season in 41 competitive matches
However, Dybala changed his heart just hours before signing, after being inspired by Gonzalo Higuain’s determination to return to Juventus’ starting XI.
Dybala’s affection for the Italian giants, who joined the club from Palermo in 2015, also played a decisive role in his decision to stay at Allianz Stadium.
His decision to stay with Juventus was a big positive for Maurizio Sarri as he scored 17 goals and 13 assists in 41 competitive games this season.
Dybala has even grown into a striker and this time will be one of the best players for Juve.
