Paul Walter Hauser is making amends after making “mean” comments about Vin Diesel.
The Black Bird actor, 37, took to Instagram to express his regret and say he is “truly sorry” after what he said about the Fast & Furious star, 56, went viral.
“I don’t feel that way anymore,” he said in a lengthy apology letter accompanied by a caption with a photo showing the Bible verse 1 Thessalonians 4:11, which read: “Try to live in quietness.”
This comes after Hauser accused the actor of being unprofessional on set despite never having worked with him.
Hauser also clarified in her apology letter that she didn’t even know Diesel when she made the claims about him “mistreating” people on set and showing up late.

His initial comments went viral after he said he didn’t want to be compared to Diesel while speaking to CinemaBlend during a June 14 press conference for his latest film Inside Out 2.
When the interviewer compared his voice acting to Diesel’s in Guardians of the Galaxy, Hauser responded, “Please don’t say that.”
Laughing, he continued: ‘I like to think I’m punctual and approachable.
“I’m sorry, I love people, but when I hear stories about Hollywood actors who are paid very well and mistreat people, I constantly denounce them,” she added. “And it’s great.”
Hauser is now retracting his comments, which he called “careless” and “unnecessarily petty.”
He explained that he felt “exhausted” when he said what he said and added that he “doesn’t feel that way anymore.”
Diesel has yet to publicly respond to Hauser’s initial statements or his apology.

“It started out kind of funny, but it ended up being a problem for me to harass him for behavior that I had heard about on multiple occasions and from multiple sources,” she continued.
“I had done an overnight shoot on Friday, got an hour of sleep, and then flew to LA from Atlanta at 6 a.m. to do a full day of press for Inside Out 2,” he explained.
“I was exhausted and in my fatigued state, I lost control and made a careless and unnecessarily mean comment,” he said. “That comment was recorded and later went viral.”
He said it can be “momentarily satisfying” to call people out for bad behavior, but maintained he should not have made those comments “even if some of those things turned out to be true.”
“I’m just here to say I’m sorry I made that comment,” she said. “I’m really bothered by some of the behavior I’ve witnessed or heard about, and ‘outing’ people to any extent can be momentarily satisfying,” she explained.
“I don’t feel that way anymore and I truly regret talking for the sake of talking and not showing love to Vin, who I don’t know and have never met,” she said.
“It’s not fair of me to make judgments like that, and even if some of those things turn out to be true, it’s petty to shout them out and playfully attack someone,” Hauser added.
He said that as a “professed Christian,” he wants to show more love to people than harm them.

“I need to do a better job of loving people and not trying to ‘right a wrong’ or allow my ego to take over with some kind of verbal arrogance,” he said.
“It’s just not part of our culture and it can hurt other people,” he added before addressing Diesel directly.
She wrote to the A Man Apart star: “I apologize. Thank you for entertaining so many people and making them happy. I’m trying to do the same.”
At the end of his note, he concluded: “It’s time for me to shut up. Sometimes I convince myself of idiocy.”
