Meadow Walker, daughter of the late Fast & Furious Paul Walker, has revealed that she will guest-star in Fast X. She shared the news in an Instagram post, along with a photo of herself dressed as a flight attendant.
In the post, she wrote: “My first Fast movie came out when I was 1 year old! I grew up watching my dad, Finn, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on screens. I was born into the Fast family thanks to my dad, and now I can’t believe I’ll be there too. With those who were there to see me grow.”
She also thanked director Louis Leterrier for his kindness, patience and support, and concluded her post saying, “I am very fortunate to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever.”
Before his death in 2013, Paul Walker starred in six Fast & Furious films, and is considered a pillar of the franchise, alongside Vin Diesel. At the time of his death, he was working on Furious 7, which was released in 2015.
The Fast has continued since then, although the memory of Walker and his character Brian O’Conner remains. But Diesel recently admitted that the series hasn’t officially said goodbye to O’Connor yet, and will do so before the series ends (the upcoming untitled 11th film is expected to be its last).
As Diesel said in an interview with Total Film“In that moment in 2013 when the world was grappling with his loss, the studio made a bold and correct decision to keep Brian O’Conner alive. I’ll tell you this without spoiling anything: I couldn’t imagine this saga ending without a true Brian O’Conner farewell.”
