Paul Scholes praised Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham ahead of Wednesday’s important Champions League semi-final second leg between Los Blancos and Bayern Munich.
Bellingham has had an incredible debut campaign at the Bernabeu after completing a big-money transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
And Scholes admits he can do nothing but admire the young English midfielder.
Speaking on TNT Sports before the match, Scholes said: “You can’t do anything but admire this guy.”
‘What he is doing at 20 years old is ridiculous. He even went from Birmingham to Dortmund and you think he will need some time to adapt, but he will be in his team for two years doing incredibly well.

Bellingham was playing his most important game yet for Madrid after a brilliant debut campaign.

“He went to Madrid when he was 20 years old. You think it’s going to take him a little time, the best players who are 25, 26, 27 take a little time to adapt, but he’s doing it now.”
‘I keep waiting for them to leave me, but it just doesn’t happen. You can’t do anything but admire it. He has a big job against a good team tonight, but you wouldn’t be surprised if he had a big influence on the game.
“I don’t think (that this match is personal for him). I think he has more important things ahead of him now. Obviously it was disappointing, of course it was. But now he’s at Real Madrid.
The midfielder did not take long to adapt to his new surroundings at the Bernabéu
“He’s at a club where he’s going to win league titles, that comes with it, but they’re obsessed with winning the Champions League.”
