Paul Scholes has been accused of misconduct by the FA after placing 140 bets on football matches.

He reportedly placed bets on football matches between August 17, 2015 and January 12, 2019, in violation of FA Rule E8.

He has until April 26, 2019 to respond to the charge.

Scholes recently left his role as manager of League Two wrestlers Oldham Athletic.
