McCartney on McCartney: Beatle Paul reveals his favorite photos of the professional photography career of wife Linda at the new exhibition of her work
Linda McCartney is best known for her marriage to one of the most successful musicians of all time.
In the last years of her life she was also known for her activism, animal rights activist and vegetarian food line. But it was a career as a professional photographer who came first.
Before marrying Paul McCartney in March 1969, she was an award-winning photographer who made history as the first woman to ever make an image on the Rolling Stones for the camera and was praised for her candid celebrities.
Her husband often joked that he had ruined her photography career because their marriage overshadowed her work.
But he seems to be fine now and has put together an exhibition about her work with their daughters Mary and Stella to show his favorite photos.
The Linda McCartney Retrospective runs from July 5 to January 12 next year at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow.
A new exhibition compiled by Paul McCartney shows some of his best wife Linda & # 39; s best work as a professional photographer.
