Patrick Mahomes has revealed that Taylor Swift is fully committed to the Kansas City Chiefs amid her romance with Travis Kelce.
The pop superstar has enjoyed a whirlwind summer of success after bringing her popular Eras Tour to Europe.
However, between countless sold-out shows, the singer has still managed to find time for football.
After taking a front-row seat at several Chiefs games amid her relationship with a three-time Super Bowl winner, it seems Swift has learned a thing or two about the gridiron.
Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback and close friend of Kelce, revealed that Swift has impressed him with her football knowledge, to the point where Kansas City might be turning to Taylor Swift’s playbook.

“She’s very interested in football,” he said of the singer in an interview with NFL on NBC. “She asks a lot of questions. She’s already planning plays, so maybe we have to include one.”
The ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker has already had a positive impact on the reigning Super Bowl champions and the NFL.
The 14-time Grammy winner attended 13 games to cheer on her NFL boyfriend during the Chiefs’ trip to Las Vegas last season, sitting next to Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, who quickly became a close friend.
And with Swift came a new demographic of football fans. A reported 5 million more women tuned in to watch Kelce and the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in this year’s big game.
The Chiefs also saw a 34 percent increase in their fan base with 2.9 million additional followers across Instagram, TikTok, X and Threads for the team’s accounts from Sept. 7 to Feb. 14, the largest such gain for an NFL franchise during that span at more than 1.2 million followers.
“I think it’s been great to see girls and women really embrace watching football,” Mahomes said of the Swift effect.
‘I know as a father of girls, it’s great for me to see these little girls and daughters spending time with their dad watching football.’
The Mahomes family has also grown close to Swift amid her relationship with Kelce, with her children even said to have a nickname for the pop icon.
The pop superstar struck up a close friendship with Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, last season.
The Grammy winner attended 13 Chiefs games last season, including the Super Bowl.
“Meeting Taylor and realizing how genuine and cool she is was special to me because she’s the most famous person in the world,” the quarterback added.
High-profile couple Kelce and Swift have been hanging out with the Mahomes family on several occasions since their romance made headlines early in the 2023 NFL season.
The two couples have spent many nights together, including New Year’s Eve and a recent trip to Amsterdam, where Swift was performing.
The Mahomes were recently invited to Swift’s star-studded party at her $17 million beach house in Rhode Island.
