Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, appeared to be denied entry to a VIP section where his sister-in-law, Brittany Mahomes, was located during a Future concert this week in Las Vegas.
Instead of helping Jackson, who visibly told a security guard that he was Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother and therefore related to Brittany while still being denied access, Brittany shrugged twice and then continued dancing to the rapper’s music.
The interaction comes a day after Jackson was spotted with Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole.
Jackson has benefited from his older brother’s status as one of the NFL’s top players as a social media influencer.
Patrick’s younger brother has been in trouble with the law, until aggravated sexual assault charges against him were dropped in January due to the alleged victim’s lack of cooperation.
The Mahomes trio have been prominent public figures since 2018, when Patrick won the NFL MVP.
Brittany ignored her brother-in-law at a Future concert on Friday night in Las Vegas.
Brittany Mahomes had plenty of reasons to celebrate in Las Vegas, beyond her husband leading the Kansas City Chiefs to their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five seasons.
Kansas City will play the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night in Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. A Chiefs victory would be Patrick Mahomes’ third Super Bowl in six seasons as the team’s starting quarterback.
Brittany herself made her posing debut for Sports Illustrated earlier in the week, joining fellow NFL WAGs Olivia Culpo and Christen Harper in the outlet’s swimsuit issue.
Culpo and Harper are engaged to 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and Lions quarterback Jared Goff, respectively.
Jackson Mahomes was not discouraged after his sister-in-law denied him appearing on the concert stage.
Brittany Mahomes posted several photos on her Instagram Story from the concert, unaffected by meeting her brother-in-law.
The Mahomes family is often seen together in public, but rarely with just Brittany and Jackson.
