Patrick Mahomes came into the Royals’ Game 3 against the Yankees after claiming he might cause a “fight” with his wife Brittany.
The Kansas City Royals host a pivotal matchup against New York in the ALDS, and Mahomes clearly wanted to be there to support his hometown team.
But he suggested that going to the game could cause problems with his wife Brittany after the Chiefs beat the Saints last weekend.
“It’s a bye week, so Brittany’s on vacation and I’m going to the Royals game, I’m sure we’ll fight,” Mahomes said.
Patrick Mahomes and his brother Jackson were seen at the Royals-Yankees game on Wednesday.
However, Mahomes was spotted at the game when his brother Jackson posted a photo of the two of them wearing Royals jerseys.
The series is tied at one game apiece.
