Patrice Evra sparks rivalry with Manchester City fan Liam Gallagher by relentlessly mocking former Oasis frontman after Champions League final defeat … with ex-United star insisting he has won ‘MORE trophies than your whole club’
- Patrice Evra has unleashed another hilarious dig online at Manchester City
- Former Manchester United man Evra aimed this time at City fan Liam Gallagher
- Evra changed the lyrics to Oasis’ Wonderwall after losing the Champions League final
- As part of the clip, Evra also states that he only won more trophies than City
Patrice Evra has relentlessly mocked Manchester City’s Champions League final defeat once again – but this time he aimed for Oasis star Liam Gallagher, an infamous Sky Blues supporter, in a hilarious video.
Curl up to a hit Wonderwall, Evra, dressed in a wig and signature sunglasses to imitate the rocker’s classic style, chose to change the lyrics to refer to City’s pain in Porto.
With the song blaring in the background, former United defender Evra unleashed the comedic swipe by urging Liam to ‘stop saying Manchester is blue’ as he ‘has more trophies than your whole club’.

Two days after City lost to Chelsea, Evra has continued the attack on social media, kicking off his latest offer with his usual dose of laughter.
Taking revenge after Liam Evra ribbed after United’s collapse in the Europa League last Wednesday, the comedic Frenchman told the singer-songwriter ‘now it’s your turn’, urging him not to be ‘jealous’ .
Then, halfway through the clip, Evra broke into his own special rendition of one of the band’s most popular songs.
City lost 1-0 to Portugal and Evra has not been able to hide his sheer joy with the result ever since

“I said maybe,” Evra sang. ‘You’re going to win when I’m 90. And you’re my noisy neighbor after all. ‘
In his usual style, he then closes the video by loudly proclaiming, “I love this game!”
Liam, who was at the Estadio do Dragao for the showpiece, has yet to comment on the sensational dig. The 48-year-old became increasingly animated in the stands as City approached disappointment.
His brother Noel was also present on the ground – although the two do not speak due to their shaky relationship.

Evra and Liam had shared a brief social media exchange last October, when the former predicted that City will “never” win the Champions League.
Liam, also a former Beady Eye member, posted a tweet that read “Patrice Evra come on, you know,” which then led to the footballer’s amusing reply, who does admit to “respecting” his music.
This is the second time in quick succession that Evra has destroyed City. Just hours after the final whistle in Portugal, he posted a Photoshopped image of him and Sir Bobby Charlton to ‘look at’ his rivals’ name on the trophy.

The photo was originally Jimmy Ryan looking at the famous gong, but instead Evra peed his face over the top to his delight.
Former Monaco man Evra captioned his post: ‘Sir Bobby can you double check City’s name? No, still not here Pat… I love this game.’
Evra, who made a total of 379 appearances for United, won the Champions League in 2008 but was twice on the losing side in the final against Barcelona, in Rome in 2009 and at Wembley two years later.
