Pat Cummins showed he is in great shape ahead of a long summer of cricket as he enjoyed a family day out on a Sydney beach this week.

Australian cricket superstar Pat Cummins looked relaxed as he and his future wife Becky enjoyed a day on one of Sydney’s most exclusive beaches with their son Albie.

The Test captain is gearing up for a heavy workload this summer as he prepares to face Pakistan and India in a pair of campaigns running from November 4 to early January, so it’s no surprise That you are taking advantage of all the quality time you can with your family.

Cummins, Becky and their son were photographed at Brontë Beach in Sydney’s east this week, just a short drive from the stunning $9.5 million home they bought in the suburb in March 2021.

The 31-year-old looked to be in great shape as he swam with a pair of smuggler parakeets while Becky looked after Albie, who recently turned three, while he enjoyed an ice cream on the sand.

Pat carried Albie on his shoulders as they walked near the sand, with his wife showing off a big baby bump in a blue dress.

Becky and Pat first revealed they were expecting their second child in August, breaking the news on Instagram writing: ‘Incredibly happy to finally share our news (baby emojis)!

“We’re so excited to meet you, honey, and to add a little more craziness to our lives.”

The post was accompanied by photos of Becky showing off her baby bump with Albie, who she is seen cradling while he places a hand on her belly in one image.

Cummins’ teammate Mitch Marsh was one of the first to congratulate the couple on the touching announcement, as was cricket star Travis Head’s wife Jessica, Aaron Finch’s wife Amy, Rachel, Usman Khawaja’s wife, and Becky’s sister Kara.

Pat and Becky were also seen sunbathing at Brontë in September, when she proudly showed off her baby bump in a gray bikini.

In August, Becky had a day out with Albie in Sydney’s east as she showed off her baby bump in a T-shirt as they walked in the park after hiding it under a jumper on what was an unseasonably warm day.

She also posted a photo on Instagram showing her perspective while looking at her baby bump with Albie in tow, accompanied by the caption: “I love this view.”

He also uploaded a picture of Albie learning the alphabet at his home in Sydney’s east, along with the words: “Thank you for all the kind messages.” I’m getting over them, they all mean a lot.’

When Albie was born in October 2021, Pat and Becky posted a heartwarming video capturing their journey to becoming first-time parents.

The video began with Becky excitedly telling Pat that she was pregnant, before documenting her growing belly, the scans and her eventual arrival at the hospital to give birth.

The Test captain told Daily Mail Australia that Becky revealed some “really deep thoughts about motherhood” to him for her upcoming book.

She interviewed Becky for her upcoming book Tested, which details in-depth conversations she’s had with leaders and high performers in a variety of fields.

“She had very deep thoughts about motherhood and how she copes when I’m on tour,” he said.

‘Sometimes it’s not easy, especially now that we have a baby on the way.

“I tried to make comparisons between the stories I was told and my life as a cricketer.”

When asked which form of the game he enjoys most after leading Australia to a stunning one-day World Cup victory over India and a Test series victory over Pakistan, the captain had no doubt that the form longest in the game is still the queen.

“I love it, especially playing at home,” he said. ‘India is always a huge series, it will have a billion fans watching it closely.

“I feel fit and fresh. Test cricket is the best for me, go for it.”
