After Simone Biles and “Pommel Horse Guy” Stephen Nedoroscik collected more honors for Team USA on the first day of gymnastics apparatus finals, Suni Lee added to the U.S. medal tally with a bronze on uneven bars.

Algeria’s Kaylia Nemour took gold with an absolutely stunning score of 15.700 points in a beautiful, near-perfect routine. China’s Qiu Qiyuan won silver with a score of 15.500 points, a significant increase from her qualifying score of 15.066.

Lee won bronze in the event for the second consecutive Olympics, competing last and recording a score of 14.800 to edge out the rest of the competition for third place.

Also in today’s finals will be the rings and men’s vault events, for which no Americans qualified despite Team USA taking home the bronze medal in the team competition. Speaking of Team USA’s medal count, you can check it out here, as the U.S. comes into Sunday’s competition with a lead in the overall medal count and also in second place in gold medals.
