The Australian pair won in straight sets (7-5, 6-2) against Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul, third in the United States rankings.

They will now face fourth seeds Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram in the final at 8pm (AEST) on Saturday, where even a loss would secure them silver.
