Paris Hilton’s husband Carter Reum is clarifying why the lovebirds have until now been hesitant to share their daughter London’s face with their fans.
The 43-year-old venture capitalist shared his thoughts on Easter, when he responded to a compliment from his followers about the Christmas post in Paris.
The 43-year-old heiress-turned-reality star had shown off her svelte figure in a vibrant pink minidress as she and the couple’s adorable one-year-old son, Phoenix, played with stuffed bunnies and huge Easter eggs.
“Happy Easter…it’s so cute…can’t wait to see your other little one…” one of Paris’s fans wrote approvingly.
Carter gave a rare response in which he explained that it was a matter of comfort that prevented him and Paris from taking photographs of four-month-old London.

After Paris, 43, posed with her son Phoenix, Carter responded to a compliment by saying they “weren’t quite ready to share” London’s face, even though she “looks like his mom.”
“I’m not quite ready to share her with the world, but she’s adorable and she looks just like her mom,” Carter said while adding two black heart emojis.
Although he clarified that they were not yet “ready” to photograph London, the businessman did not explain how his approach to London’s privacy differed from that of Phoenix.
Paris posed with the baby shortly after his birth and has since shared a constant stream of images featuring him on her social media.
However, the new parents may also have changed their minds in the months after welcoming Phoenix and before London arrived, as they were both born via a surrogate.
Although Phoenix receives a barrage of comments every time he appears in his mother’s posts, some users have also made cruel or mocking comments about the little one.
Paris described some of the comments about Phoenix’s head size as “heartless” while speaking to People in November, and admitted she was “heartbroken” after reading them.
“I couldn’t believe they could be mean and cruel to an innocent baby,” she said. ‘You can say what you want about me, but this is my little angel. And if anyone ever says anything that might hurt him or his feelings, I will always be there to protect him.’
She added that she “feels sorry” for anyone who is forced to say nasty comments about a child, adding that it makes her “mama bear instincts” flare.
Carter delved into discussions about her children’s privacy shortly after Paris revealed when she would feel comfortable letting London’s face out to the world.
In the comments section of a video shared on their TikTok account that prominently featured Phoenix, one fan praised the adorable toddler before saying they couldn’t wait until Paris felt comfortable enough to introduce London as well.
“I love you, soon,” the fashion star responded.
Carter did not clarify what made them uncomfortable sharing London’s face, and Paris has posed with her son Phoenix since he was a baby; seen on February 4 in Los Angeles
However, Paris may have been traumatized by “vicious” commenters who mocked Phoenix’s head size in social media posts last year.
Paris previously revealed that she would be showing her daughter London’s face to the public ‘soon’ in the comments section of a video shared on her TikTok account.
Although Hilton did not give an exact date, she assured her followers that London’s face will be shown in the near future.
The businesswoman shares her son and daughter with Carter, whom she began dating in 2019.
The DJ and businessman got engaged in February 2021 and married in November.
Hilton revealed that she and her husband had welcomed Phoenix through a surrogate in January last year.
Since then, the socialite’s eldest daughter has appeared in numerous photos and videos shared on her various social media accounts.
The reality TV personality and her husband welcomed London, who was also born via surrogate, last November.
Hilton’s eldest son became the subject of attention late last year, when numerous Instagram users began leaving messages on his posts to ridicule the size of his head.
