Paris Hilton’s fans expressed concern about the way she put the life jacket on her one-year-old son Phoenix in her latest TikTok video.
The socialite, 43, took to social media over Memorial Day weekend to share a video of her and Phoenix enjoying the sunny weather while splashing around in the pool together.
However, many fans took to their comments to advise the mother of two, who also recently addressed safety fears about her children’s car seats, pointing out that her little one had his blue life jacket on backwards.
“Hey mom, just some advice from another puddle jumping mom, I think it’s backwards,” one person wrote.
Paris responded: ‘Oops! Thank you! I never let him out of my arms. I also thought he was backwards, I told the person I bought it from and he told me he was on the right. But thank you very much for letting me know.’

However, Phoenix had his position backwards, with the leash in front.
Many fans offered Paris, who has been enjoying a family vacation in Hawaii, tips on how to better close her jacket, while still giving her words of encouragement as a new mom.
‘Double check the puddle jumper. I think he’s backwards,’ another fan suggested.

The socialite had taken to TikTok to post a clip of her toddler daughter London, six months, and son Phoenix buckled into their car seats, but fans were quick to question the installation of her children’s car seats.
Comments on Paris’ post noted that her children were sitting in forward-facing seats, even though the seat brand’s website indicated they were “intended to be rear-facing only.”
