‘I’m NOT a dumb blonde’: Paris Hilton says she was good at ‘pretending to be one’ as she credits herself with ‘creating a new genre of celebrity’
Paris Hilton ‘has always been good’ at pretending to be a ‘dumb blonde’.
The star said it was just a trick she used to get famous.
‘I’ve always been ahead of my time! Like I say, I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just really good at pretending to be one,” she said in the interview. British show Lorraine.
The 42-year-old socialite became known to the world in the early 2000s when she starred in the first reality show of its kind The Simple Life with Nicole Richie.
She played a clueless rich girl on the show and also kept the momentum going off-screen.

She said it was smart to play dumb: ‘I’ve always been ahead of my time! As I say, I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just really good at pretending to be,” she said on the UK’s Lorraine show.
“It really was (innovative), we are the OGs and it was amazing to see so many people inspired by that as we create a new genre of celebrity,” she added of Lorraine.
She also used her dumb blonde image when launching a brief career in music.
Seventeen years ago, he released his self-titled album which included the hit Stars Are Blind.
Now he has shared that he is preparing to release his second album.
“I’ve always loved music, I’ve played violin and piano since I was a little girl,” said the Beverly Hills resident, who wore a lilac lace maxi dress with pink trim and beige heels.
‘I have always liked to sing. I’m in the studio making my second album so it’s been amazing,” she noted.

She has said that her life now feels so “complete” since she became a mother.
The siren noted, “We had been friends for a long time, but I feel like timing is everything.”
“I had these walls around my heart and it wasn’t until I made my documentary that those walls came down.
Carter caused them to collapse. But my life feels so complete (since I became a mom), and I feel so excited about the future and he is everything to me.
