Paris Fury has opened up about not speaking to her husband Tyson for several months as she prepares for her long-awaited rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Paris is in Riyadh for the fight, which will take place on Saturday night, seven months after their first bout, in which the Ukrainian inflicted the first defeat of his professional career on the Gypsy King.
In the lead-up, she revealed that she hadn’t spoken to Paris or her children for three months as she locked herself away for her training camp, but Paris made sure she was there to support her husband of 16 years ahead of their successful showdown in the final press conference.
Speaking about his training camp, Tyson told TNT Sports host Dev Sahni: “It’s been a long camp. I’ve been away from my wife and kids for three months, I haven’t spoken to Paris in three months, not one word. Yes, I have sacrificed a lot.
Meanwhile, Paris has now opened up about the split, revealing the struggles she has gone through to try and help her husband succeed in the ring.

Fury will face Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in a heavyweight title rematch on Saturday night.
The duo are currently in Saudi Arabia but have yet to speak ahead of the fight.
“I don’t think I talked to many people this time,” he said. “I haven’t seen him like this since the rematch with Deontay Wilder, that was the last time I saw Tyson in this state of mind. I can’t give you much information because we haven’t spoken for weeks and weeks and weeks.
‘It’s true. After the last fight, everything that happened personally in our lives and Tyson had the result the last time, he decided on his own and I had to support him. He didn’t want to get involved in family life, he has isolated himself for the last few months, he is in serious condition and seems very determined. If it’s what it was meant to be, then, God willing, tomorrow night it will all come to light and it will be good and worth it.’
Paris was sitting in the crowd for the final press conference, but has not yet spoken to her husband. Her calm demeanor improved a bit when she launched a verbal attack on Usyk after a staredown that lasted more than 11 minutes, but Paris backed her husband to get the job done on Saturday.
“It’s been very difficult, I can’t lie,” he said. ‘I supported him in the decision, but it is not the best thing not to talk to your husband for a long time.
‘But I’m looking at him, it was the first time I saw him yesterday, we haven’t talked yet. I was sitting 10 feet away from him and we barely made eye contact, but I think I can see in my heart that it was worth it.’
