Children's television channel CBeebies asked parents to share ghostly conversations with their young children – and thousands offered their hair-raising encounters
Facebook user Megan Smyth shared a very scary encounter with a baby monitor.
The mother wrote how she heard crying and walked upstairs. The crying turned into sobs, where the child said: & # 39; I want my father & # 39 ;. She explains: & # 39; Not defo my child! She slept quickly! There were no other children in our neighborhood, so I don't know what it picked up !!! Really scared me. & # 39;
On Twitter, @Beckofdoom offered ghostly insight from her then toddler. She wrote: & # 39; That a man was hanging on our clothesline, and when we went to look, she said: & # 39; It's okay, he's buried in the ground now & # 39; she was about two and a half & # 39 ;.
Another mother, Kayleigh Emerson, said her daughter's frightening observations had made her wonder if past lives really existed.
She said her daughter, then two, told her she had a car accident. She wrote: & # 39; She paused, stared into space, and said: & # 39; Then a van came and I got a bad headache and rain fell on my hands. & # 39; Then, when a switch was turned, she was suddenly talking bubbles again about snowmen.
She added: & # 39; I couldn't get her to say more about the van. She said a few other, equally creepy things around that age – I was actually wondering if past lives could be real. & # 39;
