The studio also pushed the upcoming Jackass Forever from October 22 to February 4, 2022, meaning the studio will not release another movie in theaters in 2021.

The moves were made by Paramount because the studio didn’t want to “cherry pick” which movies would open in this current climate.

The report revealed that the studio believes all their projects and stars deserve the same box office consideration and positioning in today’s market.

The studio also made these steps after consulting with their global team regarding COVID-19 and the contagious Delta variant.

With the global box office outlook looking much brighter for 2022, the studio simply decided to maximize the potential for their current slate and move their films to 2022.

The studio also recently pushed Clifford The Big Red Dog from their fall release date, but a new date hasn’t been chosen yet.
