Paramore was forced to halt its performance during Taylor Swift’s third concert at Wembley Stadium on Saturday after noticing a fan in the crowd in need of medical attention.

The band, who have been supporting the singer during the European leg of her Eras Tour, briefly interrupted their hit song to check on an audience member.

A few lines into Only Exception, Hayley Williams, who noticed a fan in need of medical attention, told the rest of her bandmates, “We need to stop,” before asking some members of the crowd, “Are you guys okay?”

The packed stadium quickly fell silent as the fan received security help, and Hayley told the crowd: “I’m sorry, let’s make sure you’re okay before we start again.”

As the entire stadium fell silent, Hayley attempted to lighten the mood with a joke, saying: “Wow, Wembley seems really quiet here now.”

This comes after Swiftie fans were left in an uproar during the opening moments of the singer’s Wembley show, after being trapped outside the stadium as her concert began on Thursday.

The Cruel Summer hitmaker, 34, is currently back in London for five more shows – but some excited fans missed the first moments of her first gig in the capital.

MailOnline can also reveal that some fans missed out on the first few songs, from the Lover era, while waiting to receive their wristbands.

Swifties were left angry after being denied entry to the stadium due to a maintenance issue after security staff ran out of wristbands.

Fans were begging to be let in sooner so they wouldn’t miss the start of the show, where the star first sang Cruel Summer, The Man and Miss Americana and Heartbreak Prince.

One concert-goer said: “It was chaos, they wouldn’t let anyone in without a wristband. They had some but they ran out and you had to wait a long time each time until they got more.”

This comes after Taylor, 34, announced five new opening acts on Instagram earlier this month, including Raye and Suki Waterhouse for the Wembley Stadium dates.

Fronted by Hayley, the band have been touring Europe with Taylor and will be joined by a variety of female talent at the Wembley shows.

Aside from Paramore, who are scheduled to play every show, the other artists will each perform one night.

On August 16, British artist Holly Humberstone performed, and the following night singer and actress Suki Waterhouse took the stage.

Earlier in the band's set, Hayley Williams, 35, interrupted her hit song to check on a member in the crowd and the entire stadium fell silent as the fan received medical attention.

Maisie Peters will perform on August 19, before multi-BRIT award-winning singer RAYE supports Taylor on August 20.

Announcing the news, Taylor wrote on her Story: ‘Just wanted to let you all know about something coming up that I’m really excited about – we’re adding 5 amazing artists to our 5 Wembley shows, taking place right before Paramore!’

“I asked them to play on this tour because I love their music and I think they’ll rock Wembley Stadium. Go check them out if you haven’t already! It’s going to be a great five nights of fun!”

These August performances mark the final dates of Taylor’s UK tour and bring her total number of Wembley Stadium shows to eight nights – the most she has performed in any city during her record-breaking tour.

Following these performances, the singer will take a break until her tour resumes in Canada in November.

He will then continue with the remainder of his tour dates across the Atlantic before the Eras Tour concludes in December 2024.
