In April, Paloma postponed her Cardiff show for medical reasons, as she announced she had to reschedule her performance for a second consecutive night.

She was left ‘devastated’ when she was diagnosed with laryngitis, which is caused by a virus and means she cannot sing.

On Instagram, a day before the scheduled show, the singer canceled her concert at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena and told fans it would be rescheduled for a later date.

Paloma also admitted she is unsure whether her show at The Brighton Center on Saturday night will go ahead, although she promised to do everything she can to be fit for the planned performance.

She wrote: ‘I am devastated to announce that medical professionals have advised me not to perform my show in Cardiff tomorrow but to reschedule it. I’m doing vocal rest, steam baths, gargling and even had a steroid shot.

‘At the moment it’s one day at a time so I’ll tell you about Brighton tomorrow but I want to do nothing but go to these shows and I know that when they come they will be the best show I can put on for you. So far this tour has been amazing and I can’t wait to get started!’

‘This is the worst thing that can be done. And I can’t apologize enough…strangely the kids are behaving better now that I can’t talk, which confuses me.

‘Please hand over your tickets and as soon as my team has a date to reschedule, we will let you know. All my love Paloma x’
