A month ago, we saw images of a pending phone that had apparently been made by Palm, and now it has been leaked again, with a new render that has looked closely at the front, back and one side.
The special thing about this phone is that it looks very small, apart from the fact that we have not seen a smartphone with the brand Palm for a long time. The latest image, shared by Android Headlines, does not give you a complete picture, but according to a previous leak, the screen is only 3.3 inches in size.
What is clear in this new image, however, is that the phone – which perhaps has the codename the Palm Pepito – has large edges, so although it is probably very small, it could still be larger than you'd expect from the rumored screen size. .
Few functions and fewer buttons
Other details in the image are a camera with one lens on the front and back and an on / off button and a SIM card slot on the right side of the phone. Strangely enough, there are no volume buttons to see and despite the large edges and the backgroundless back, there seems to be no home button or fingerprint scanner.
So expect that this handset is a simple phone. Indeed, an earlier leak suggested that it would simply have a Snapdragon 435 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, an 800 mAh battery and Android 8.1.
The design – with the exception of those big bezels – is perhaps a bit more premium, because it seems to have a curvy construction and what a metal frame and glass back can be, but each of those components can just as easily be made of plastic.
Now that the Palm Pepito has now leaked twice and the leaks fit together, chances are that this is real, but the big question is when it is launched and what it will cost. So far there is no news about it.
