Palestinian activists have blocked the Brooklyn Bridge, the Golden Gate and the roads leading to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport in a coordinated attempt to bring the United States to its knees.
Anti-Israel protesters took over the Brooklyn Bridge on Monday afternoon and walked through traffic, chanting and beating drums.
Several protesters were arrested by NYPD officers as they attempted to block traffic on the bridge.
Pro-Palestinian supporters have used Monday’s tax day as a way to make a statement in a national ‘A15’ protest.
The economic blockade comes in solidarity with Palestine and has called for an arms embargo and an end to US taxpayer funding to Israel.
Other protests broke out Monday morning at a Philadelphia intersection and on Highway 880 in Oakland, California.

Some of the protesters held signs while others marched and waved colored smoke in the air. Cars stuck on the bridge honked at them as protesters walked in front of the vehicles.
Around 8:15 a.m., protesters were arrested in Philadelphia after taking over the intersection of Market Street and Schuylkill Avenue in the city center.

Frustrated travelers jumped out of their vehicles and walked 20 minutes to make it to their flights on time.
An earlier protest broke out on Highway 880 in Oakland, California, when people are seen blocking the freeway.
On Monday, around 8:23 a.m., protesters sat in the middle of the Kennedy Expressway, connected to each other with PVC pipes, and blocked the road leading to O’Hare Airport.
Dramatic images of the blockade showed dozens of people chanting ‘Palestine will be free! Free, free Palestine!’ with a loud drum roll in the background.
All lanes of I-90 were blocked between Bessie Coleman Drive and the airport, but according to O’hare International Airport, incoming traffic later resumed.
“Please allow additional time if traveling to the airport this morning,” the airport said in a post on X around 8.30am on Monday.
Protesters paralyzed traffic while some drivers were seen sitting on top of their cars. Police vehicles were at the scene.
Many of the protesters were seen wearing keffiyeh scarves while chanting and waving signs reading “Free Palestine” and “Stop Genocide.”
As they chanted, angry drivers began honking their horns, while others got out of their vehicles and jumped over the railing to get to their flights.
The protest, which was organized by Chicago dissidents, said they decided to block the airport because it is “one of the largest in the country” and should not be operating “while Palestinians suffer at the hands of Israel’s US-funded bombings.” Joined”. ‘

Lines of traffic have stopped in front of the group as police vehicles are seen at the scene.
“We have protesters who are putting their bodies on the line and will not move until they are physically removed,” one organizer said in a video.
The group also posted an image of a map showing congestion on the road as they blocked traffic, saying: “It’s day 191 of the genocide in Gaza and we’re shutting the fuck down.”
People took to social media and commented on the protest, with one saying: ‘It’s time to criminalize obstruction of interstates. 30 days in county jail is more than appropriate,” and tagged Illinois Governor JB Pritzker.
Others commented that the police officers did “nothing.”
One person commented: ‘Why do the police just stand there all the time and allow these riots? Each. Single. Time.’
