Pain from Greta Thunberg revealing that her grandfather died at the age of 94

Climate activist Greta Thunberg paid tribute to her grandfather after revealing on social media that the 94-year-old had died.
At the age of 17, the 17-year-old from Sweden revealed that Olof Thunberg ‘had died’.
When posting, she said: “Yesterday my grandfather Olof Thunberg died. He was about to turn 95. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. We miss him terribly. “
Greta also went to Twitter where she posted a series of photos of her grandfather.

She placed the following tribute to her grandfather on social media platform Instagram
She placed that he was “one of the greatest actors in Sweden”.
Olof worked as an actor, voice artist and director with a career that lasted more than 75 years.
Olof started his acting career shortly after the Second World War.
He played in films and TV shows and even went on to TV movies in his later years.
Greta also paid tribute to Twitter to her grandfather, who said her family “will miss terribly”
One of his most striking roles was his vocal work on the Swedish version of Disney’s The Jungle Book.
In this film he recorded the voice of the tiger Shere Khan.
He also played Fredrik in the Winter Light of 1963, and praised his fame with an international audience.
Greta had been in Oxford at the time and met one of her ‘role models’ Malala Yousafzai in Lady Margaret Hall.
Greta also posted a photo of her meeting in Oxford on Tuesday and called Malala “a role model”
Greta, 17, is in the UK to participate in the school strike on Friday. She became a famous name after skipping school in Sweden to protest against climate change.
Malala, who is now studying philosophy, politics and economics, was shot in the head by the Taliban in Pakistan for campaigning for girls to go to school.
Greta was able to quickly become a member of Malala, as she was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2019 and 2020. The winner will be announced later this year.
