Paige Sprianac slams critics of LIV Golf circus in Adelaide as fans lose it over her X-rated top

Date:

Glamorous golfer Paige Spiranac slammed critics at the hugely successful LIV tournament in Adelaide, insisting that ‘fun is allowed and should be encouraged’ at sporting events – but fans preferred to focus on her very tough outfit.

The influencer and former professional golfer enjoyed watching the inaugural LIV Australia course at Grange Golf Club last weekend, which saw more than 90,000 spectators flock to the course.

There has been much criticism of the Rebel League due to the fact that it is funded by the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia, which was set up in 1971 for the purpose of investing on behalf of its government.

Many also took issue with the event’s party atmosphere, which led to wild scenes as fans absorbed the music and enjoyed more than a few drinks at the so-called ‘watering hole’ – but Spiranac isn’t one of them.

“It was electric, but depressing is all I was seeing on social media,” she said in a video posted to Twitter, which she quickly deleted.

Golf glamour, Paige Spiranac, has attacked critics of the recent LIV tournament Down Under, insisting that “fun is allowed and should be encouraged” at sporting events.

People were saying a lot of music, a lot of fun. When did too much fun become a bad thing?

They were like, “Okay, now you’re an adult, you have responsibilities, a job you probably hate, you have to get married, you have kids, the financial burdens and on top of that no more fun.” It’s absurd.

Fun is permitted and should be encouraged, especially at sporting events. That’s why we go to have fun.

“And let’s be real, it’s golf, it’s not that serious. They don’t save lives or make brains. They chase a ball and hit it with sticks, trying to get it into a hole.”

“Whether you love LIV or hate LIV, you have to admit that this event looked a lot of fun and is generally good for golf.”

Spiranac has taken the sport by storm, posting glamorous photos on the golf course in bodycon skirts and low-cut tops, amassing 3.7 million followers on Instagram, and being named the ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’ by Maxim magazine.

Many fans agreed with her take on the “fun” aspect of LIV events, but others couldn’t get over her cheeky T-shirt, which read, “I’m not just funny (I have cute stuff too!).” “

“Great shirt, forget golf,” one Twitter user replied.

The influencer recently revealed that her rapid rise to fame in golf comes with a price.

Spiranac said she would be “very disappointed” to play a match with Tiger Woods or Tom Brady in an Instagram Q&A last month but revealed that she’s been guarding herself against the rumor mill.

She claimed that “disgusting sexuality” rumors spread every time she worked with a man, which made her feel like she could not participate in certain events.

One thing people don’t talk about being a woman in a male-dominated industry, whether it’s golf or the sports industry, is that any time I get laid with another man, there are rumors and comments, and it’s all disgusting sexual stuff,” Spiranac said.
