The wire got kicked off by Twitter user Erin from London, who took to the social media site to ask her followers to share their most peculiar behavior, admitting she was crying for a man who had a car license plate that read ‘wavy’.
She was quickly inundated with dozens of responses from red-faced tweeters and confessed to their most impossible moments, with a post of 3,400 retweets and 50,300 likes.

The thread was kicked off by Twitter user Erin, from London, who took to the social media site to ask her followers to share their most awkward encounter, admitting she was crying over a man who had a car number plate with the text ‘wavy’, shown
The stories include a man who walked in on his parents while they had sex announcing Princess Diana’s death, and a woman who paid for her date’s dinner while being dumped.
Another admitted to passing out with the opticians in their early twenties when they put dye in his eye, only to wake up and find he had wet himself.
One wrote, “Waited behind a mannequin for what seemed like an eternity in River Island, before realizing it wasn’t the line.”
Another admitted: “I was crying for a boy who once shook my hand, looked me in the eye and said ‘just friends’ after sex.”

A second said, “My mother and father walk in to tell them that Princess Diana had died, only to see they were having sex. It was about 8 o’clock on a Sunday morning. ‘
