MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or “habagat” will bring cloudy skies and rain to southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) he said Saturday morning.
Metro Manila is expected to have fair weather with cloudy skies and isolated showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon.
(The southwest monsoon or habagat is still affecting the entire country, therefore we expect cloudy skies and rain in parts of the Visayas, Mindanao, and parts of southern Luzon.)
Pagasa has not detected any weather disturbances within and outside the Philippine area of responsibility as the low pressure area off Visayas has dissipated.
