A South Australian player won the $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot last night, but the identity of the new billionaire remains a complete mystery.
South Australia’s entry was the only division one winning entry domestically in Oz Lotto draw 1608 on Tuesday night.
Lott spokesman Matt Hart said he was waiting for the country’s newest billionaire to get in touch and begin the process of claiming the prize.
“Tonight’s win is the second biggest win in South Australia in 2024 and caps a winning year for the state,” he said.
‘In May this year, the state welcomed Australia’s biggest individual lottery winner, an Adelaide man who pocketed a $150 million Powerball prize.
“Tonight, a mystery player joined the billionaire club by winning $50 million, but they may not know it yet.”
He reminded players of the importance of registering their tickets with The Lott Members Club, so they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.
“Had the elusive player recorded his ticket, The Lott officials would have contacted him tonight to confirm the life-changing news.”

The winning numbers from Tuesday’s draw were 1,29,20,23,34,46 and 39, with 42,43 and 24 being the supplementary numbers.
Ten Australians won $62,689.10 each after splitting the second division pool, while 139 third division winners walked away with $5,330.
The Lott division one winner count has reached 418 people so far in 2024.
In fiscal year 2024, there were 292 winning division one Saturday lottery tickets totaling more than $436 million, creating 158 millionaires nationwide.
